While I was tinkering with the Google's Photos app on my phone, I have just realized today, that I can make photo albums with it! :)
When I made the switch from an iPhone to my Nexus 5, that I currently have, one of my biggest complaints was that I don't have the freedom to create own albums.
I'm a bit of an organizational freak, so to see all the photos jumbled today, it took some time getting used to.
Not sure when the Photos app had updated to include the Albums option, but now...I HAVE THAT FREEDOM! :D Truly happier with an Android phone now ;)
So...to share this joy...here's a little tip on how you can also make Albums with your photos ;)
Need:
- An Android phone with photos you want to arrange
- A Google account

Step 1.
Find the Google "Photos" app on your device.
Step 2.
Touch the "+" icon on the top right and select "Album"
+ Notice that there are many other options to play around with your photos! ;)
Step 3.
Select items to add to the album and select done!
You can find your created albums under the "Collections" section.
The albums are listed in chronological order of when the photos were taken.
You can also rename them if you wish! :)
